3 TIPS ON HOW TO REDUCE STRESS

Reducing stress levels and creating healthy habits lead to being balanced and present with yourself and your loved ones.

Always being busy seems to be the new ‘normal’, where high-performance and stress go hand in hand and almost seem hip and fancy.

This way of living our precious lives tremendously decrease our health and wellbeing, as well as the quality of our relationships.

‚Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need.’

- Fight Club, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk

Doing less is more…

Feeling stressed, imbalanced and under pressure can become chronic. The negative effects of chronic stress don’t just affect us; our partners and loved-ones feel it too.

Have you noticed this between you and your partner? Caught up in your daily routine rushing from one thing to the other? Where taking the time for each other hasn't happened for a while?

We long for harmony and a real and deep connection with our partner. If we are constantly in a rush and are not present in the relationship, the intimacy we wish for is slowly but steadily fading away.

  • By reducing your stress levels, you restore hormonal balance and increase your life energy. You get back into your natural flow.

  • This leads to more creativity, more awareness of your needs, and attention to what is important to you.

  • You are more likely to make time with your partner while being fully present. From there, deep connection is planted and with daily awareness nourished to grow.

Start simple. Take small steps to create space and bring more balance in your life.

Slow down. Feel the effects of doing less while increasing your life quality.

  • Down-cycle: Do less. Where in your daily life can you do less?

  • Is it cutting social media time?

  • Is it letting go of perfectionism versus getting it done?

  • Is it relaxing your shoulders more often throughout your day?

Say ‚No‘ more often.

  • You don’t have to be available anytime and anywhere

  • Don't answer emails that are not part of what you want to achieve at the moment

  • Say no to people draining your energy

  • Spend less time on social media

  • Do only the projects that lead you to your goals

Be courageous :

  • Whenever you have the choice, surround yourself with people that lift you up

  • Set boundaries

  • Stop working overtime and instead hop in some comfy clothes and practice yoga, meditation and relaxation

  • Schedule time with your partner and make sure you stick to it, without getting distracted
